For this new landscape project, a major consideration was the home’s corner position, which places its gardens on view from both prominent sides of two busy upper north shore streets.

And as the clients are keen gardeners, one of the key considerations in the design brief was to open up the garden to the street, rather than simply adding hedges for privacy, and to provide planting palette that would blend with natural environment while softening their home and the other surrounding structures.
